This book examines the impact of microfinance on assets accumulation among women in 'village banking'(module devised by Muhammad Yunus). It is based on women because they form a marginalized part yet very important group. The Author has used scientific approach to critically analyse the impact of Microfinance. Coupled with clients input, the book provides very useful information as to how microfinance could significantly contribute to poverty reduction.
