You've mastered the apps. Now conduct the coworker inside them.
For decades, getting work done meant opening an app and doing every step yourself: writing the document, building the spreadsheet, clearing the inbox, sitting through the meeting. Now Microsoft has woven an AI coworker into all of it: Copilot inside Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint, a chat that reaches across your whole workday, a studio where you build agents by describing them, and Copilot on your screen in Windows and Edge. Most people try it as a slightly smarter chatbot. They get a little convenience and none of the leverage.
Microsoft Copilot at Work is the sixth volume in The Intelligent Garden series, and the leap from using the apps to conducting them. Whether you are new to Copilot or already live in Microsoft 365 every day, digital transformation architect Sridhar Krishna Raju gives you a coworker in every app, not just a chat box, and turns you from an operator into the pilot in command.
This is not a technical book, and it never asks you to become an engineer. It is a practical, plain-English guide to working smarter in Microsoft 365: which surface to reach for, how to brief the assistant so it lands the first time, how to ground answers in your own files, and how to hand off real work and trust what comes back. Every idea is taught for the non-technical reader, with copy-paste templates and worked examples you can use the same day you read them.
Inside, you will discover:
- The Office Map: match every task to the right Copilot surface, and stop using one tool for every job
- The Copilot Ladder, from asking a question to orchestrating a whole team of agents
- G.C.S.E., the four-part blueprint for a brief that lands the first time: Goal, Context, Source, Expectations
- How to ground answers in your own files, mail and meetings with the Work Graph, so the machine shows its receipts
- How to build a Copilot Studio agent that already knows your job, just by describing it, no coding required
- Copilot across Microsoft 365: draft in Word, model in Excel, triage Outlook, build the deck from a doc in PowerPoint
- The Guardrail Matrix: how to let agents act safely, keeping the irreversible last mile human
- Ready-to-use prompt templates, phrase banks, a four-week plan and three worked builds start to finish
- A playbook for parents, professionals, educators and leaders alike
- Interactive TRY IT, STEPS, TEMPLATE and STAY-SAFE boxes on almost every page
The apps changed how a generation worked. What is inside them now does not just wait for your input. It drafts, builds and acts. The difference between the people who thrive with it and the people it quietly leaves behind will not be technical skill. It will be judgment. Stop treating Copilot as a smarter chatbot, and start conducting the coworker inside every app, because now you can.
Scroll up, grab your copy, and conduct your first task today.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
