Microwaves and Wireless Simplified (Artech House Antennas and Propagation Library)

Using simple, down-to-earth language, without any math, Microwaves and Wireless Simplified explains the meaning of microwave and wireless engineering expressions such as VSWR, Characteristic Impedance, Reflection Coefficient, and many more. The book is written especially for non-technical managers, marketers, and sales people in high-tech industries who communicate with engineers and technical personnel every day. It enables a clear understanding of microwave and wireless concepts and theory, and shows how the technology is applied to radar, telephone, and communications engineering. The author also describes various microwave components and materials -- what they are and how they work together to make up the total microwave or wireless system. The book contains over 100 clear illustrations and a full glossary to facilitate learning.
