The Middle Distance (Paperback)

Paperback. This anthology is a journey through the process of personal alchemy and transformation. What began in the lobby of a Motel 6 in Colorado, over four years grew into a stark and unflinching account of what it means to be a person living through these tumultuous and transformative times. Mr. Ogrosso bobs and weaves, switches perspective and creates an unsettlingly honest and raw emanation of the lasting pain of trauma, what it means to fall in and out of addiction while trying to still shift and adjust to a reality that is constantly changing, and that is becoming more and more difficult to discern from fiction. Mr. Ogrosso holds nothing back, and offers no quarter to to the people, systems and institutions that have led us to this precarious point in our history, while also shining the brightest possible light on his own life, mistakes and burgeoning redemption. This is a collection of poetry for the dreamers and outliers, the ones who know too much, but are never heard. These poems were created in the furnace of personal alchemy, and hope to inspire people on their own journeys of actualization. This item is printed on demand.
