The Middle String

Milo Bennett is used to being right in the middle.

Not the oldest, not the youngest. Not the best at anything, and not the worst. Just... average. Overwhelmingly, everyday average.

Then his mom brings home an old guitar nobody else wants, and Milo discovers something that is finally, completely his. Alone in his room, with sore fingers and one chord at a time, something starts to click.
