quarter leather boards are shelf worn and a little marked. the top of the spine is frayed and a tear has been carefully repaired. a neat signature from a previous owner. there is some neat annotations in the text. this would appear to be updating dates of death etc and if anything adds value to the book. the book is complete with all plates and tissue guards. some minor foxing. the binding is excellent.
