Gage, the leader of the Vista Maria vampire family, crosses paths with Willow, a human with a haunting past. She moved to the coastal city of Vista Maria, Florida to start her dream of becoming a female business owner. Both Gage and Willow are on the fence about love as they try to heal from past relationships in different ways. Gage became a cold-hearted man who secretly fears what he's become while Willow works to establish a sense of family in her new community. Willow befriends Gage's three friends, Matteo, Horatio, and Nikolas who become an extended family to her. He has made a new appearance in town once he learns of Gage's new interest in Willow. Now Gage can no longer ignore his feelings for her once she is put in danger.
