It also includes useful MTBI management strategies, how dietary changes may influence recovery, and websites offering further knowledge regarding provision access and understanding.
Chapter three continues with more detailed personal journey reflections before reviewing, in principle, scientific research from modern imaging, biomarkers, nanomedicine, prognostic models, and connectomic analysis. Finally, following a brief reflective summation, future treatment options are suggested based on the evidence presented.
Given the global socioeconomic cost MTBI presents, there is a need for greater investment and research to construct diagnostic and valid predictive models. Such models can offer greater immediacy and facilitate a more comprehensive, multidimensional approach to treatment options. In so doing, this may facilitate targeted therapeutic management plans to deliver optimal recovery.
