Originally from Bloomington, Illinois, Terry J. Glawe lived in Illinois, Indiana and Texas before settling in Cumming, Georgia, in 1999. She retired from the corporate world after twenty-eight years and currently is a Realtor and works in corporate property management in the Atlanta area. She spends her spare time pursuing her true passions: family, friends, gardening, boating, and camping.

Glawe and her husband Steve have five grown children and ten grandchildren.
