The exterior of this VG book (second printing from December, 1962) is very clean, square, and free of corner bumps and edge dings; head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage. The top edge has numerous pin-point sized dots of reddish-brown. The interior is also very clean and free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage; there is very mild staining on the end pages along the spine--whatever caused it, it was definitely "an inside job" because there is no exterior damage of any sort. The hinges are strong and the paper is quite flexible. The VG jacket (price: $3.50) is intact and complete. There is very slight wear at the head and heel of the spine. A very attractive book.
