Jennifer P. Wisdom is author of "Millennials' Guide to Management and Leadership" and "Millennials' Guide to Work." She has previously been a photojournalist, soldier, therapist, marathoner, surfer, academic, and teacher. She currently leads Wisdom Consulting, where she helps people and organizations make things work better and reach their potential. She relates to Millennials' struggles at work and has been delighted to pull together suggestions and ideas from more than 30 years of work experience to help Millennials and others navigate the workplace.
Dr. Wisdom has worked in complex health care, government, and educational environments for 25 years, including the serving in the U.S. military,non-profit service delivery programs, and higher education. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology (2001) from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a Master's of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (2003) from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. In addition to leading Wisdom Consulting, she is affiliated faculty at the City University of New York and at Portland State University-Oregon Health and Science University. She is an intrepid adventurer and licensed clinical psychologist based in New York City and Portland, Oregon.
