About the Author

Shauna J. Grant is the creator of the critically acclaimed Mimi series and of the graphic novel adaptation of Karen's Prize by Ann M. Martin. She loves all things pink and magical and enjoys creating stories that feature Black girls as the heroines of their own adventures.
