Our world is a vast and mysterious place. No one seems to fully understand it, and yet there are those who claim to understand the mind of others. This book is a combination of poetry, journals, and general musings of a man trying to understand our world. People think logic and emotions are completely separate from one another but are they really? Is it not possible for one to detect patterns in behaviors and responses that trigger emotions in others? Could it be that words hold more power than we think? I hope these poems allow one to think deeply about our world and how it relates to us as a species. Poem content ranges from dark poems about hopelessness, to musings about nature. It is easy for us as humans to overlook the simple, but profound things in life. The primary goal of this poetry and journal collection is to chronicle not just thoughts within me, but also observations of the beautiful world we inhabit. The journals deviate a bit from poetry and challenge the reader to think critically and honestly about some things in society that can best be described as timeless or traditional. The writing style sticks to no specific meter or line style beyond the text format and flows from within to be as it should. Content wise this poetry book is clean of obvious prurient interest content and graphic violence. If you are offended by words like piss, or euphemistic writing, then this book is not for you. If you hate poetry, journals, new content, or books, in general, why are you reading this? Other than those concerns this book should be suitable for any age. I have seen euphemisms for things in G-rated movies for crying out loud. I hope you enjoy this book.

Adam Thomas Applebaum has written two books in the fictional biography category which combine, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Drama, and Comedy. The series is planned to be four books long with a second series to follow. Additionally he will make a spin off series of the first one thanks to a generous patron. That spin off series will be a mystery novel series. This is his first time writing a poetry book however he has been poetry writing on and off for four years. He doesn't plan to make poetry books into a series but, instead separate collections as he hits certain milestones. His first one was 25 submissions. His second one will have to be 50 or higher before another one comes out.
