Miner Issue (Predicate Uncertainty)

Miner Issue continues the Predicate Uncertainty series, building on the events of A Chesapeake Nightmare. In the first novel, John McDonald was forced into a private war when his family became leverage in a larger, unseen contest. The response required more than force; it demanded the creation of a capability that could move faster than formal institutions and operate where attribution was deliberately obscured.

In Miner Issue, that capability confronts a more sophisticated challenge. Disruptions in the global mining sector, subtle at first, then increasingly coordinated, point to an adversary operating with patience and intent. The terrain has shifted from a single act of coercion to a campaign shaped by ambiguity. As patterns emerge, the central problem of the series comes into focus: decisions must be made not on certainty, but on the quality of the predicate that can be established before events overtake it.
