Miner Town: Awakening

The dead cities burn so the Trinity stays warm.

In a world where the elites of Trinity live in climate-controlled luxury while the colonies below dig coal to keep their lights on, four young people begin to notice what the adults around them have stopped seeing.

Gage, the Engine. Camilla, the Eyes. Ben, the Circuitry. Otto, the Fighter.

Between them they have a dying father's plan, a hand-built map of the mountain's skeleton, and nothing else. What they discover in the hidden architecture beneath the wasteland will cost them more than they can afford - and demand more than they knew they had.

Miner Town: Awakening is a story about the machinery of the world, the price of seeing clearly, and the question every young person eventually has to answer for themselves: what will you do to regain the freedom that was once your birthright?

The first book in a new young adult dystopian series, Miner Town: Awakening will appeal to readers of Suzanne Collins's The Hunger Games and James Dashner's The Maze Runner - a coming-of-age story of resistance, sacrifice, and awakening set in a world built to keep its people from looking up.
