About the Author
Originally from Somerset, Norm has spent much of his working life in Eastern Europe - he is the author of the Rough Guides to Slovenia, Romania and Budapest - but in recent years he has turned his hand to home shores as author of the Scotland, Wales and Ireland guides. These days he divides his time between Orkney and Somerset.
Jackie Staddon is a travel writer, updater and editor with twenty years of experience in guidebooks under her belt. Though she has worked on various destinations from around the world, Scotland is one that holds a special place in her heart.
