Complete in two volumes. Half green morocco leather bindings with marbled boards. Spines have five raised bands and gilt lettering. Leather rubbed to edges of spines and to corners of boards. Boards rubbed and have chipping to edges. Good solid bindings with no cracking to joints. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper in each volume (Robert Malcolm Kerr), a previous owner's inscription to leading blank in each volume (G.H.M. Kerr, dated 1881). Occasional spots of foxing to text, otherwise very clean throughout. Early 19th century periodical that originally ran for 34 issues between April 1804 and April 1805. This is the revised and expanded second edition: 'From several unavoidable circumstances the publication of the Miniature was in the first instance very irregular. I have therefore supplied these deficiencies with some additional numbers.' This edition brings the number of issues up to 40. Scarce. . Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
