The Ministry We Need: Three Inaugural Discourses (1835)

""The Ministry We Need"" is a collection of three inaugural discourses delivered by Samuel Hanson Cox in 1835. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the role of the ministry in the church and the qualities required for effective leadership. Cox emphasizes the importance of a deep understanding of theology, a commitment to personal holiness, and a passion for evangelism. He argues that ministers must be equipped to engage with the challenges of their time and to effectively communicate the gospel message to their congregations. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Christian ministry and the ongoing debate about the role of the church in contemporary society. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
