About this Item
A copy of the memoirs of T. E. Lawrence's time as an enlisted man in the R. A. F. With later notes by 352087 A/c Ross. For The Mint Lawrence worked from a notebook that he kept while enlisted, writing of the daily lives of enlisted men and his desire to be a part of something larger than himself: the Royal Air Force. The book uses sparse prose as opposed to the complicated syntax found in the autobiographical Seven Pillars of Wisdom. It was published posthumously, edited by his brother, Professor A. W. Lawrence. In a blue cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine, in an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart with just some minor shelfwear. There is some damage to the top right-hand corner on the front board. Dustwrapper is a trifle rubbed. There is a large chip to the top right-hand corner of the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good. Seller Inventory # GEN34-G-8
