The One Minute Manager Gets Fit

Details a lifelong blueprint for getting and keeping in shape to guide busy people in maintaining good health and a healthy self-image to ensure their continued productivity

All work and no play made Kenneth Blanchard a fat, albeit famous and successful, boy. And because "healthy people not only feel good about themselves but they produce good results," he and his coauthors have written a fourth book in the One Minute Manager Library series. In this episode, the One Minute Manager, Kenneth Blanchard's alter ego, learns to take control of his life and reduce stress through attention to health and fitness. Long on perky resolutions, pat solutions and cliches, these 128 pages printed in large type are fleshed out with cutesy illustrations, a sample graph and health questionnaires (one is duplicated so you can clip the extra and have your health risks computer-evaluated, address provided). Peak performers who need constant cajoling, hand-holding and feedback may find some substance in this fast food, but those with any business sense will balk at the price tag, a money-back guarantee for the dissatisfied notwithstanding. 100,000 first printing; $125,000 ad/promo; first serial to Success; author tour.
