El Mirador (Paperback or Softback)

With a top-notch education and first-class looks, Zara Flynn is an ambitious young architect and the daughter of construction megacorporation owner Tristan Flynn and his Spanish-born wife. When Tristan is killed in a jobsite disaster, Zara arrives in Spain to take over the reins of Flynn Enterprises and the problem of El Mirador, a questionable piece of property on the Costa del Sol.

El Mirador stands derelict on a deserted stretch of Spanish coastline, a burned-out, abandoned luxury hotel that Flynn has bequeathed to his stunning and savvy daughter. Romance and intrigue are the farthest things from Zara's mind, but inherits both when other interested parties scheme to steal her legacy and a gorgeous but eccentric Latin pop star tries to seduce her.

Befriended by a quirky English couple vacationing on the Sun Coast, and thrown together with handsome and witty engineer David Parker, she determines to discover the secrets of El Mirador as well as the circumstances of Tristan's death. However, Zara is already an obstacle to someone's hidden agenda, and is in danger of being eliminated in the same manner as her father. As they get closer to the answers, Dave and Zara get closer to each other until their attraction ignites a romantic passion that has no shut-off valve.

This story steam-injects a dose of strong and smart heroine, and adds a professional-grade coating of high-heat sexual encounters. Zara Flynn inherits more than she contracted for beneath the steel beams and concrete of El Mirador, and faces both a personal and environmental dilemma. Will she sign on and see this project though to completion? Will you?

"4 chocolate dipped strawberries served with a frozen Margarita with Salt, Zara's favorite."

Very well written. Exciting plot and charming characters. The passionate scenes between Dave and Zara do not dispoint. What better way to spend a cold afternoon then on the shores of sunny Spain?

"An action packed, spicy little novella"

Sizzling Hot Book Reviews

The death of her father has been a very difficult thing for Zara...he was her idol and most definitely her miracle worker. He left his entire business to Zara, along with the old, run down, and decrepit-looking El Mirador. Zara struggles with finding meaning in what her father wanted to do with the old resort and also discovers someone [else] wants this property and will stop at nothing to get it, even if it ends in Zara's death. The characters made the book in El Mirador, [and] was an action packed, spicy little novella [with] a good mix of sensual romance, a little mystery and even some humor that I found to be very appealing.
