The Mirror of Doom

Let's 'time travel' to a medieval world where fairy tales are REAL, get ambushed by enemy soldiers, attacked by scary creatures, and nearly fried to a crisp by a dragon. said no one ever But that's what happened to 12-year-old Tim Hunter. And, he blames his older siblings, Ron and Kat. If they didn't chase him into his creepy Uncle Edgar's room, he never would have seen the mirror, which was actually a portal to a world of castles, kings, and (yes) fairy tales. He never would have been tricked into going through it. And he NEVER would have met Morissa, the evil queen from the Snow White story who now wanted to conquer the world. An old prophecy made it look like Tim, Ron, and Kat were the only ones that could stop her. There was just one problem: Morissa had an army of men and dangerous creatures at her command -- and she would not go down without a fight. Can three kids with zero sword fighting skills -- and even less ability to get along -- defeat a wicked, powerful queen and find their way home? What Readers are Saying.Surprisingly delightful book The self-centered sassy tone of the 12-year-old narrator immediately drew me into the story, and it's interesting to see how the character's attitude matures once he falls headlong (or is pushed headlong, actually) into his adventure.Filled with non-stop adventure & good clean fun Sibling rivalry abounds as they join forces with others in a seemingly impossible quest. Great way to show young folks that you can rise to the occasion when needed & accomplish more than you ever expected. The book leaves you wanting more Engaging from start to finish Well done and very entertaining for my eleven year old daughter and myself.…
