Goldsmith studied at Trinity College Dublin, where there stands a statue of him by J. H. Foley. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart, a little rubbed. Minor bumping to the extremities. Light marks to the boards and spines. Very small damp stain to the front joint of Volume II. Front hinge of Volumes II, III, and IV are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots. Repairs to the title pages of Volumes I, II, and III, repairing chips. Very Good.
