Misconception: An Immigrant's Tale

Misconception is a gripping psychological thriller and immigrant tale that follows Darah Coleman's journey from the bleak housing estates of Dublin to the promise and excess of corporate America.

Driven by ambition and a desperate need to escape the limitations of his childhood, Darah reinvents himself in the United States, rising through the world of finance and technology in pursuit of success, status, and belonging. But beneath the polished exterior lies a man shaped by emotional scars, dangerous relationships, and a growing fear that the life he has built rests on fragile foundations.

As ambition turns to obsession and success begins to unravel, Darah finds himself confronting betrayal, corruption, loneliness, and the brutal reality that the American Dream often comes with an unforgiving price.

Set across Ireland, New Jersey, New York, and Florida, Misconception is an emotionally charged story about immigration, identity, power, and the consequences of chasing a dream that was never quite what it seemed.
