Volume 1 is the 7th edition [1807] and has a folding hand coloured frontis after W. H. Pyne, Viii PP + 337 pages. Volume 2 has a folding plain frontis by James Beresford after Edward Scriven and Vi pp + 292 pages with a 12 page publishers catalogue at the rear, in total there are 18 fold-out hand coloured aquatints with a folding parody theatre broadside purporting to be at The Haymarket printed on fine toned paper, woodcuts in the text, the volumes are in a worn tree-calf with labels mostly lost, back board of volume 2 separating, stringing showing and back broken and with a vertical split on volume 2 also. title page also repaired in this volume and in volume 1 the endpaper also has amateur repairs, the plates escape any taping used, the remaining plates and text are mostly clean and the plates free from marks and minor offsetting and perhaps the occasional light foxing, mostly clean and hand-made rag paper has done its job. Volume 1 is a 7th edition dated 1807 (first was 1806) and the 2nd volume is a 2nd edition of 1807. Small Octavo, (2 volumes).
