Miss Money Honey and the Riddle

Jimmy can't believe the summer is over and it's already the first day of school, but he's still excited to see all his friends and start the new year! But when he gets to class, he notices his friend Benny being bullied by some of the other kids. He wants to help, but he just doesn't know how. And then his teacher tells the class their homework for the day: think of a riddle to bring to the class tomorrow, one that'll stump everyone. With so much to think about after a long day, Jimmy falls asleep and has a crazy dream, where he meets Miss Money Honey, her flying piggy bank, and Lenny Penny, a shy but important coin who comes out of the piggy bank. The dream is strange, but may have everything Jimmy needs to solve all his problems from his first day of school. Join Jimmy as he learns not only the value and importance of a penny, but most importantly how to stand up to bullies, for himself and for his friends.

Becky Page has an extensive background in education, theatre, and finance. She has been a schoolteacher, curriculum writer, and educational administrator. The founding executive director of the Academy of Finance of Spring Branch Independent School District, she has also served as executive director of the SBISD Education Foundation, the executive director of the Masquerade Theatre Company, and the interim executive director for the Queensbury Theatre Company. Becky Page also helped build a fee-only-based financial counseling and trust company. She has served on many philanthropic boards and is currently serving as the founding executive director for the nonprofit Financial Knowledge Foundation for Children. In this book, she has combined her passions for educating children about finances, an awareness of the negative impact of bullying, and a lifelong love and involvement with music. She hopes Miss Money Honey and the Riddle will help introduce young children to the fundamental principles of monetary values, as well as give insight into some resolutions to today's bullying epidemic. Becky Page has lived all over the country but currently resides in Texas with her husband. The two have four adult children and six grandchildren. When Becky Page is not public speaking or writing, you can find her beside a campfire enjoying nature with her family and friends.
