The Bayfront Bookshelf is an incorporated subsidiary of the Friends of the Erie County Library, Erie, PA. All proceeds from our sales benefit the all-volunteer work of the Friends and their mission to increase, improve and make better-known the resources, programs, and services of the Erie County Library. We detail our descriptions as best as possible, using these terms: Fine (for books that are "like new"), Near Fine (books with barely one or two minor flaws, as described), and Very Good (solid books with at most few minor flaws, including toning, or a small tear or chip, as described.) We do not not normally carry Good, Fair or Poor books unless they are rarer than rare, as you would not want to own them nor gift them--and neither would we! Every book we ship is padded in some way; we do not just toss it in an envelope, as so many dealers do. We appreciate your business, and we hope that you appreciate ours!

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Orders placed on Friday afternoon may not be shipped until Monday. We prefer to ship our books in a USPS Priority Mail envelope--with padding--and we will make every effort to make sure that if your book fits appropriately,it is shipped as such, so that it may be tracked efficiently. If your book is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. We will combine orders into one package if at all possible to save you shipping charges.
