About the Author
Alexandra Layos lives on a small farm in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania with her mother, father and sister, Katina. Among the menagerie of animals, her own personal pets are an alpine and a fainting goat, named Petie and Sparky, a kitten named Candy and a chameleon named Camille. Physically gone from their lives, but never from their hearts, Allie's most special friend, Astonishinglee, will forever be foremost in her thoughts.
Allie has been riding Saddlebreds and Morgans for as long as she can remember, and is in training with Brook Sweigart of Sweigart Stables in Denver, Pennsylvania.
She has had the pleasure of writing a monthly column in the internationally known Saddlebred magazine, Saddle & Bridle Magazine, for over three years now, and hopes to continue writing for many more.
