Review
Impressively well written, organized and presented, "Missing Links: Practical and Surprisingly Effective Tools for Self-Transformation ... and Behavior Modification" is practical, sensible, rational, and thoroughly 'user friendly' from beginning to end. As informed and informative as it is thoughtful and thought-provoking, "Missing Links" is very highly recommended for community library Self-Help/Self-Improvement instructional reference collections.

I felt like I was devouring a novel that happened to give tips on improving one's life. I loved how this book is organized into so many categories and sub-topics as well as the immensely useful and detailed table of contents. I felt a sense of honesty and wisdom in the author's words that made me feel as though this man had experienced everything that was included in this book and that he truly cared in helping his readers find their way to a healthier and joyful life.

One of the primary reasons people are unsuccessful accomplishing personal change is that they burn out after trying too hard. I have had problems with this very issue on numerous occasions. I think I try to change too many things at once. According to Daniel Petra's "Missing Links", change is best accomplished through numerous small changes or 'baby steps'. This is actually really useful advice.
The advice is solid, uncomplicated and can be used by anyone.

When you exert too much change, you fall off the wagon so to speak. It's hard to dramatically change your life, it's exhausting, and often times people give up because of the amount of work and dedication involved. It's just easier to revert back to the familiar. The key to making lasting change is by taking it small steps at a time, little changes in various parts of our lives and in subtle ways. That's how this book explains how to make lasting effects on the problem areas we want to see results in. How to truly see results.
