Missing!

At the age of eighty-six, the author’s father, Frank Miller, Sr., disappears on a cold winter’s night, clad only in light clothing, his blood thinned by an accidental overdose of blood thinner. Nancy, her mother and four siblings endure extreme grief, disappointment, disagreements and despair in their desperate search for him. Five months into his disappearance, the unexpected death of their mother heightens the grief and stress. Missing! begins with a traumatic memory for Nancy that she experienced at the age of eleven with her mother, continues with Nancy’s memories of life, both bitter and sweet, with her parents and siblings and disturbing and mind-boggling accounts of the long, heartbreaking search for her father. The book ends with the shocking discovery of her father’s body seven months after his disappearance. Nancy’s faith and humor help to lighten the reading of this tragic, yet heartwarming story.
