Published by Dublin Review, London, 1888

About this Item

15 pages. Stone explores a neglected strand of Arthurian tradition, comparing Maloryâ s French sources with later English adaptations. The article emphasises the Catholic colouring of the original narratives and the thematic shifts that occurred as the legend passed through different hands. An authentic standalone article, extracted from a larger volume. Not a reprint or reproduction, but an original work in its own right. Preserved in a modern card cover, prepared for practicality - an unassuming but serviceable presentation that favours function over finery. Size: 18 x 26 cms.
