Missing Someone: A Tale for Every Heart That Misses Someone (The Habitat Collection)

Sometimes we miss someone.

Maybe they are far away.
Maybe we haven't seen them for a long time.
Maybe someone we love has died.

Missing can feel big.
It can feel small.
It can feel like tears, quiet moments, or a memory that suddenly makes us smile.

There is no wrong way to miss someone.

Missing Someone is a beautifully illustrated story for children and the grown-ups who love them. Written with warmth and gentleness, it offers comfort without trying to fix feelings, reminding readers that love doesn't disappear when someone is absent.

Rather than asking children to push difficult feelings away, this story gently invites them to notice the love that already lives within them—and to let that warmth grow, one small moment at a time.

Perfect for:
• children experiencing separation or loss
• families reading together
• grandparents, parents, teachers, counselors, and caregivers
• anyone looking for a comforting gift that nurtures hope and belonging

Part of The Habitat Collection, this gentle tale invites readers of all ages to wander, wonder, and remember they belong.
