About the Author

GEORGE SPRINGER was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 World Series. He was drafted by the Astros in the first round in 2011 and made his Major League debut in 2014.

DALLAS KEUCHEL is a starting pitcher with the Astros. During his six-year career, all with Houston, he has been named an All-Star twice, earned three Gold Gloves, and won the Cy Young Award in 2015.

A.J. HINCH has been the manager of the Astros since 2015. He played seven years in the Major Leagues with Oakland, Detroit, Kansas City, and Philadelphia.

BRIAN McCANN plays catcher for the Astros. He has played 13 seasons and been an All-Star seven times.
