Mission for Two

In the year 2075, Earth is struggling to survive. The planet is damaged, resources are disappearing, and humanity is searching for hope. When scientists make contact with an advanced alien civilization living on a distant planet called Alive, NASA prepares an extraordinary mission that could change the future of humankind.

Two gifted children, Jimmy and Joan, are selected for the journey. Leaving their families behind, they spend years traveling through space aboard a rocket called Nothing to Fear. Their mission is to observe and understand how the people of Alive have created a peaceful, abundant society where individuals live together in harmony despite their differences.

As Jimmy and Joan grow into adults, they experience a world built around cooperation, education, equality, and respect for both people and the planet. What they discover challenges the way humanity has traditionally approached conflict, poverty, resources, and community. After completing their mission, they return to Earth carrying lessons that may offer humanity a new path forward.

A Mission For Two by Craig Bowman is an imaginative illustrated science-fiction story about courage, discovery, diversity, peace, and the power of working together. Through an adventurous journey beyond Earth, the story encourages young readers to think about how cooperation, compassion, and responsible choices can help create a better future for people and the planet.
