Missions Striking Home: A Group Of Addresses On A Phase Of The Missionary Enterprise (1908)

""Missions Striking Home"" is a collection of speeches given by Joseph Ernest McAfee, a prominent figure in the missionary movement of the early 20th century. The book focuses on the idea that the missionary enterprise is not just about reaching people in far-off lands, but also about bringing the message of Christianity to those closer to home. McAfee argues that there are many people in the United States who are in need of spiritual guidance, and that missionaries should not neglect their own country in their efforts to spread the gospel. The speeches cover a range of topics, including the importance of prayer, the role of women in the missionary movement, and the need for a strong Christian education. Overall, ""Missions Striking Home"" provides a fascinating glimpse into the mindset of early 20th century missionaries and their vision for spreading the word of God.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
