Author Ed Asner calls Misuse of Power a primer. His co-writer, retired government analyst, Burt Hall, concurs, but this primer has spoken out on people and issues on both sides of the political fence, and this small volume puts into words many of the issues being placed before the voter. Asner and Hall have written clearly, sparingly and well about the political realities. In doing so, they have reflected the views of many other citizens, questioning the actions of both political parties when confronted with important issues.
About the Author: Ed Asner is also a stage, film and screen actor who grew up in Kansas City, began his career in Chicago, and has been seen by millions of people the world over in critically acclaimed roles. He has also written articles and books on a number of subjects, and has long been a political and social activist. When not on location or speaking out on important issues, he lives on the West coast. Burt Hall has spent much of his life working for the federal government as an analyst. Retired, he registered as a Republican to vote for McCain in the last presidential election, and has remained a passionate writer on political issues. Though he spent a few years of his retirement in Florida, he and his wife have returned to the East coast.
