Finally, the business collaboration models are transformed to deployment artifacts to be interpreted by IT systems. In this PhD thesis, we propose a design approach for B2B integration based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML) considering all three layers.

Marco Zapletal received his PhD in Business Informatics from theVienna University of Technology in 2009. He was granted a Siemensscholarship for visiting TU Eindhoven in 2009. Marco has authoredover 20 publications in international journals and conferences onthe topics of Business-to-Business e-Commerce (B2B) and BusinessProcess Modeling.
