5 3/4" x 8 3/", grey cloth with red and black titling and decorative detail to front board and spine, 177 pp. Stated First Edition. Lacking jacket. Illustrated throughout with photos and diagrams. A sought-after title on model railroading, this copy in about Very Good condition, perhaps VG-: pristine interior save for age-toning to the endpapers, outwardly good (see photo enlarged) but with some wear to corner tips and spine ends, the bottom leading corners worn through at the tips, spine ends bumped, white mottling and tanning to front board, more pronounced on the rear board.
