Modeling Objects and Environments

This second volume in the five-volume series, Principles of Computer-Aided Design, introduces the concepts of modeling real-world phenomena. Covers methods and techniques of representing the physical environment as symbol structures that can be manipulated by a computer. Includes studies of data structures useful for two- and three-dimensional artifacts and examines attributes of objects such as topology, geometry, transformations, assemblies, and general database query/update operations.
