With the advent of speed control techniques using static power converters, dc drives are widely used for various applications. This monograph is aimed to illustrate the operative response of various configurations of dc drives for changes on the source side as well as on the load side. Operational analysis of speed control system using static power converters has been successfully discussed and illustrated.
