The Panzerkampfwagen IV has often been referred to as the workhorse of the German Army in World War II. This important weapon went through several upgrades and improvements during its lifetime and is the only German tank to have been produced continuously throughout the entire war.
In his previous title, Modelling the Early Panzerkampfwagen IV, Tom Cockle covered the early production Panzer IV. This book will cover the later versions of the tank, from those that were initially equipped with the 7.5cm KwK 40 L/43 to versions which were mounted with the L/48 gun.

About the Author
Gary Edmundson was born in Sunderland in 1956. He is currently settled in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada, working in the chemical industry as an analyzer technician. Gary has written a number of modelling titles for Osprey.
Robert Oehler is the former Marketing Manager at Tamiya America, Inc., and was regularly involved in the research that served as the basis for the Tamiya military models. He has regularly contributed product reviews, demonstration articles and historical interest features to magazines throughout the world. He is the USA Consulting Editor for Tamiya Model Magazine International as well as for the Osprey Modeling series.
