Most developers can create simple chains or basic agents that work in controlled environments. Turning those experiments into reliable, scalable, observable, secure, and maintainable systems that deliver consistent value in real enterprise settings is an entirely different challenge.
This book bridges that gap.
Production-Ready AI Agents with LangGraph is a practical, project-driven guide that teaches you how to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain sophisticated agentic AI applications. Through a single, continuously evolving multi-agent research and reporting system, you will master modern AI engineering practices from first principles to production deployment.
What You Will Learn
- Build stateful, persistent workflows using LangGraph
- Design intelligent, autonomous agents with advanced reasoning and reflection
- Create robust multi-agent systems with supervisor and specialist collaboration
- Implement enterprise-grade RAG pipelines with hybrid search and grounded retrieval
- Integrate external tools and services securely using the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Develop provider-agnostic architectures supporting OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and local models
- Apply comprehensive testing, evaluation, observability, and monitoring
- Deploy and scale AI applications with FastAPI, Docker, and production best practices
- Harden systems with proper security, guardrails, and responsible AI principles
You will follow a single, realistic project that grows in sophistication with every chapter. Expect complete, executable code examples, in-depth architectural discussions, honest analysis of trade-offs, production considerations, and practical troubleshooting guidance. The emphasis is always on real engineering decisions rather than surface-level API usage.
Who This Book Is For
This book is written for Python developers, software engineers, backend developers, AI practitioners, and technical architects who want to move beyond prototypes and build production-grade AI systems. Basic Python knowledge is assumed.
If you are ready to develop the skills and confidence required to deliver reliable, enterprise-ready AI applications, this book will show you how.
Take the next step in your AI engineering journey today.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
