He became senior technical expert in battery technology and team leader in cell technology, and in 2010 he was appointed Head of Battery Modules and Electromechanics. 2013 he joined the JV SK-Continental e-motion as head of advanced development.
Dr Birke has 24 years of experience in research, development, and production of energy storage systems with a particular focus on Li-Ion technology.
