Modern Computing

Modern Computing: Principles and Paradigms provides a comprehensive text and reference on modern computing, covering the most recent paradigms, systems, and architectures that have revolutionized computational intelligence through the use of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) applications.

The book presents state-of-the-art research on emerging areas of communications, networking, and recent technologies such as AIoT applications, Digital Twins, Edge AI, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Advanced research findings (theoretical innovations and modelling applications) provide high-quality concepts, hybrid applications, innovative methodologies, and development trend studies for a wide audience. It will enable readers to learn the fundamental science as well as the practical development of AI-driven next-generation modern computing.

With particular emphasis on the areas of AI, next generation computing, and cloud computing, this book will be of great use to postgraduates and researchers across computer science and engineering, information technology, electronics and communication, and data science.
