no edition or printing stated only copyright date 1970 - 1st printing as later printings were stated of this 1970 new edition with color and black & white photographs in addition to the drawings, originally published in 1950 - light toning/soiling to edges of text block - bottom corners of boards lightly bumped - short inked gift inscription to half title page, dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, very light soiling with light toning to upper lower edges - three 1/8" tears to top left edge with a 7/8" tear and associated 1/2" crease to bottom right edge of front panel - 11/8" tear to top right edge with 3/8" tear to bottom right edge of rear panel - a vertical crease to rear flap - 2 tiny tears to top edge with 1/8" and 3/16" tears to bottom edge of spine - 11/8" and 21/4" creases to front flap - original price intact.
