Marckwardt, the book and contents are clean and solid, the former owner nam e is inked on the front free endpaper, in flipping through the book I found approximately 7 pages toward the front with a little underlining, the covers are tight and have virtually no wear, the dust jacket has light extremity wear and some light rubbing, a very usable book, there is no price on the dust jacket flap, so this may be a Book Club Edition ..
