As always, the original intent of the book remains paramount: to provide an up-to-date textbook for readers who are novices in the area of human relations or for practitioners with little formal training in the subject. For the eighth edition of Modern Human Relations at Work, approximately 20 percent new material was added, representing both new trends and additional information of important concepts previously discussed.
