Ex library book. 8vo. 182 pages. Purple cloth boards with gilt titles on front and spine. Black and white drawing of microscope as frontispiece; numerous black and white illustrations in the text. Boards rubbed; corners bumped; ends of spine crushed; upper edge of rear board faded; library number on spine. Small library stamps and numbers on a few preliminary pages and pages near rear of book; otherwise pages almost entirely clean. Binding slightly loose with gutters starting to crack in several places.
