Also other illustrations within the text. The 96 pages at the end of the book are entitled "The diseases and treatment of Cattle, Sheep and Pigs" and were written by James Irvine Lupton. Whilst the majority of the book is devoted to horses (up to page 401) there are also sections on Cattle and Sheep The Cattle section was written by John Walker and that on Sheep by by Charles Scott.
