Odhams 1937-1938. Full Colour illustrations. 20 early issues of this fantastic publication dated between 3rd July 1937 and 30th April 1938. Fantastic artwork throughout including stunning full colour cut away centre folds from the likes of Leslie Ashwell Wood who went on to illustrate centre page spread cut aways for Eagle in the 1950s. Each issue is packed full of knowledge, fantasy or thriller stories, science fiction and instructional articles. Modern Wonder certainly was one of the finest publications of its day and gives us an extraordinary everyday insight into the fraught and fast-moving world of the time.
